- cannabis, dispensary, raids
Some reports suggest the four raided dispensaries were targeted for violating both state and federal law. Specifically Alternet’s report by Kristen Gwynne speculates that these four dispensaries were running large-scale pot distribution schemes not tied to medical marijuana and thus were not in compliance with state law. The raids allegedly came after a two year investigation.
Time and court papers will reveal the reasons for the raids and whether anyone will be convicted. Until then everyone is presumed innocent. Despite your position – probably not a great use of taxpayer dollars. Recreational Cannabis consumption for adults remains legal in the State of Washington – in part – because the voters were convinced that the cost of law enforcement isn’t worth it.
Courage. We stand with you.
